I stand in gratitude for Champagne Aishihik First Nation, whose land we live on. Here the earth, sky and water sings and speaks and will dance with you, in whispers and in shouts. If asked, the land will help you heal. First you must ask and then listen, there are many messages.

When I chose the name of the studio, the symbolism of the lotus, which grows from the mud and is surrounded by water but doesn’t get wet, seemed fitting for what people do and are when they spend time here. Lotus Studios is about transformation and connection. Those moments where within our own lives we are ready to shift and integrate a new way of being to lead us into our peaceful heart.
